THE DESIGN IS DONE IN COLLABORATION BETWEEN MYSELF AND ARTIST CARLOS LOPEZ GUTIERREZ (MR.C.ARTWORK). ALL OVER SCREEN PRINTED ON 280 GSM ALL BLACK BLANKS. THE MATERIAL IS 100% COTTON, MANUFACTURED IN VIETNAM BY THE LEGENDARY AOTHUN MANUFACTURING FACTORY.

COMMENTARY:

The colors in this piece are very dear to me. Specifically the orange, which is striking here. It is specific. Most would expect red. You would expect something that is a true boot. There is an inescapable certainty that awaits us all. There are moments in your life that were meant to happen. The orange represents the nature of that which turns the wheels of fate.

It has an imposing feeling against black and can be perceived in a couple different ways, really being more defined by what it is next to. The beauty of art is that it is what you perceive it to be. It is also what it defines itself to be.

The point of this collection is to portray how I perceive the influences that have generated creativity and wonder to me. The amalgamation of life experiences, collaboration and influences all interwoven behind strokes of the pen.

This collection is a stepping stone towards a one-shot comic and you will be directly contributing to that effort when purchasing this shirt or any shirt in this emerging collection. Each shirt will reveal the influences and some of the concepts forthcoming in the one shot. Slowly, surely, one step at a time. One batch, two batch, penny and dime.
